Conscious sedation during an abortion

Conscious sedation is available at selected abortion centres. It is a form of anesthetic that allows you to feel sleepy and relax or fall asleep during the procedure. 

If you decide to opt for sedation its important to let us know when you make your booking so that we schedule you on the appropriate time and date. 

You will also receive a set of fasting guidelines to follow, so you know when to stop eating and drinking.
